How to take care properly of your walking stick

STORAGE AND CARE OF YOUR WALKING STICK

RUBBER END TIP

The rubber tip at the end of the stick is a consumable.
Periodic replacement is necessary to avoid the danger of any falls.

WALKING STICK CLEANING

During walking dirty and mud can soil your stick: over time this can damage the paint, allowing moisture to get into the wood fibers. To clean the walking stick you have to use a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Do not use oily substances to clean the handle or the end tip, to avoid the risk of slipping. Do not use solvents or mirror/glass cleaners, as they may damage the wood. It is recommended to always dry the stick with a soft cloth, if it get wet. If the stick is painted wood it is possible from time to time to polish with a woolen cloth and wax bee.

CORRECT CONSERVATION

Do not store your stick at extreme temperatures. Too high temperatures, as well as too low temperatures and humidity, can damage the stick. To avoid the danger of falling on snow or ice, use the stick with special non-slip protections (ice claw). Pay attention to uneven, soft, wet or slippery surfaces. Respect the maximum permitted body weight indicated on the product sheet. The walking stick cannot be used in any case for other purposes (e.g. as a stand, to strike or lever etc.) and it is not allowed to hang objects on the walking stick (e.g. bag, bags, etc.). Please keep the walking stick and all additional parts away from children.
